Apostolos Kamarinakis, Rear Admiral (Rtd) of Hellenic Coast Guard and Civil Engineer (NTUA) specialized in Seaports Management and Development sector, is currently the CEO of Elefsis Port Authority S.A., President of the Hellenic Ports Association (ELIME) and the Representative of Greek Ports in the General Assembly of the European Sea Ports Organization (ESPO). He is also Secretary General of Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chambers & Βusiness Τransport Αssociation and Member of Board of Directors of the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (HERRCO).
He has served as Director of Ports and Port Development, Director of Port Policy, Head of Merchant Ships Inspection at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, CEO of Igoumenitsa Port Authority S.A., as well as Executive Director of the National Port Development Center.
Mr Kamarinakis is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since1978. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), postgraduate studies at University of Swansea Wales and postgraduate specialization in Port Management and Development at French public company ACTIM (Agence pour la Cooperation Technique, Industrielle et Maritime) as Port Development Engineer.
